In a great maelstrom of shiny objects and elbow grease, Mythic Curios has found a home on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/mythiccurios! To spread the word and share the love, we’d like to propose a little game. :)

If you “Like” the Mythic Curios FB page and this post between Saturday 12 PM CT (Oct. 19) and Sunday 9 PM CT (Oct. 20), you’ll be entered into a drawing for a custom, one-of-a-kind painting or piece of jewelry of your choice! We’ll be using a random number generator to choose the winner, so everyone has an equal shot. :)

It may seem a little silly to like both the FB page and this particular post, but that gives us insurance that no one’s Like is missed when we go to roll that virtual die to choose the winner! FB is a little notorious for not showing 100% of all page Likes, but it’ll show all the Likes on this post! :)

Psst! Even if you might not want a handmade piece of art for yourself… perhaps a friend or family member would? The winner could always make a gift of their prize if they so chose. ;)

We’re overjoyed to welcome a new Mythic Crafter as a partner-in-art: Kaitlyn Myers!

Kaitlyn is best summed up as a geeky soprano, sculptor and painter. Kaitlyn finds spirituality in song and inspiration through various forms of meditation. Kaitlyn sculpts imagined or sacred creatures into existence in polymer clay and is honored to craft forms of spirits and gods for those wish to hold a small piece of how they view the divine.

To our great surprise and delight, Drew (aka the Rogue Priest) of Altmagic did a post featuring Mythic Curios! In fact, his spotlight post went live before Ty even shared the news of this new venture with the magical and Kemetic communities we participate in.

In the space of a single day, Jerynn and I pondered what it would be like to have a shop together, discussed potential names, decided on a name, decided to go for it, set up Etsy and Paypal accounts, created listings for custom items, filled out our shop policies, and, somewhere in there, remembered to breathe.

I take this to mean our Inspired Action sigil is highly effective. :D
