First SOLD Sigil!: The Way Opens

In an endless field of black, there stands a door. The threshold is red, symbolizing your desire to pass through; the inner side of the opened door is green, showing that the opportunity on the other side is a healthy one for you. The doorway is filled with soft yellow light, and the door has been opened from the other side for you, the key still in the lock. A golden path streams out, leading you in. The sigil itself is in metallic bronze, a strong color, a magical color; the key in the door is, in fact, part of the sigil itself.
First For-Sale Sigil: Joyful Success

With strong black lines building a solid foundation for your success, with thin streams of purple (spiritual “rightness”) and crimson (passion) racing through it and unmoving circles of earthy brown, the painting invokes a powerful, stable base for the sigil’s magic. From this groundwork, brilliant colors explode into the clear sky – gold for joy and abundance, bronzed orange for intense happiness and purpose, and a little bit of glistening red for love. The sigil itself is in crystal green, a color for natural growth, wealth, and overall health, filled with a pale yellow like wheat or sunlight. It’s surrounded by a burnished gold aura, radiating fulfillment and more abundance. The painting looks striking both straight-on and when the light catches it, making all the metallics blaze brightly.
Sigil: Immanent Gratitude

The core concept behind this sigil is the resiliency and constant mindfulness of the good things in life, no matter what positive or negative events may be conspiring in the right-now. Current events are symbolized by the interlocking patches of color, all of which are positive in their own ways. The white aura in the middle shows a little of the other colors through; the radiantly golden sigil in the center of the piece is not walled off or locked away, but protected by internal purity and calmness. The rim of the aura is a filter, not a blockade, gentling the external experiences that pass through it. The bronze dots, the black lines, and the gold sigil are all metallic and shine nicely in the right light; everything else is matte.
The First Sigil: Inspired Action
The fact that Mythic Curios exists, both as a site and as a shoppe, is attributable to this sigil. :)

This is the first sigil I created, the first of a group I intended to hang on the wall within my corner of sacred space. The phrase was Jerynn’s idea, the execution my own, but it is for both of us, for our household together: we are invoking “inspired action,” which is not only inspiration, but also the willingness and capacity to see it manifested into reality. The blue is vivid and deep, the primordial waters, cauldron of life; the sigil is in gold, for creativity and molten ore; strands of sacred purple come down from the stars as inspiration, and orange roots snake down to reach the fertile earth below and manifest the ideas.
Working through this sigil delighted my inner facets of geek in so many ways. Figuring out how to phrase the goal/intention to be linguistically aesthetic in English, psychologically effective, and magically active; using Kalash to make it visually cryptic and elaborate and pleasing to look at; using my knowledge of magical color symbolism and the psychology of color; and then getting to paint it myself! And that’s not even mentioning the magic performed over the finish painting.
This sigil not only let me fall in love with the process, but has provided the fuel for those that followed it.
Relatedly, Jerynn spent the next three days taking his car apart and repainting various panels, which he’d been putting off for months. :) We didn’t even put two and two together until he was finished, and we were laughing at the unexpected efficacy of this little sigil. Little did we know at the time that it would bring about this site shortly thereafter…
